In the November/Deceember 2005 issue of Washington Gardener magazine, our EdibleHarvest column was Extend Your Growing Season with Coldframes by Cindy Brown. The article is about the many kinds of coldframes you can buy or construct to protect your vegetable crops from frost and freezing. Plans for the Green Spring Garden coldframe described in Cindy's article are posted here and here. In the May/June 2008 issue of Washington Gardener magazine, our EdibleHarvest column was Providing Support: How to Build a Better Tomato Cage by Cindy Brown. The article is about the many kinds of tomato supports and cages you can buy or construct. Additional photos of the Bamboo Tomato Tower Plans described in Cindy's article are posted here.
In the September/October 2008 issue of Washington Gardener magazine, our Cover Story is Dealing with Dry Shade by Fran McClure. In addition to the many plants spotlighted in her story and accompanying side-bar, Fran has provided us with an extensive Plants for Dry Shade List that is posted here.
